1. Community-generated content

Rigmates is a community platform. Trip logs, campground listings and reviews, hookup and cell-signal details, forum posts, event listings, marketplace listings and messages are created by members, not by Rigmates. We do not verify their accuracy, legality or completeness.

2. Release of liability

You use Rigmates and everything on it at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Rigmates, its owners, operators and contributors from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses or expenses arising out of or related to:

• travel, route, road, weather, boondocking, campground or campsite information found on the site, including maps, GPS coordinates, distances and directions;
• maintenance, repair, towing, solar, electrical, propane or modification advice, and the maintenance tracker, reminders or any missed or inaccurate reminder;
• marketplace transactions, RV, parts or gear purchases and sales, pricing, condition claims, shipping, payments, scams or disputes between members;
• in-person meetups, events, rallies, campouts and any interaction with other members online or offline;
• downtime, data loss, deleted posts or photos, or interruption of any site feature, including notifications and messaging.

Rigmates provides the platform "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Nothing on the site is professional, mechanical, legal, financial or safety advice.

3. Your responsibilities

You must be 18 or older, keep your login secure, post only content you have the right to post, and follow all laws. Harassment, spam, fraudulent listings, hate speech, illegal items and impersonation are not allowed. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before you rely on it, and for inspecting any rig, part or campsite yourself.

4. Blocking, moderation and removal

You can block any member at any time from their profile. Blocking hides their posts from your feed and stops messages, follows and friend requests in both directions. Rigmates may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at its discretion.

5. Content licence and privacy

You keep ownership of what you post and grant Rigmates a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. Private profiles, maintenance logs, home-base coordinates and direct messages are restricted as described in the app. Do not post other people's personal information.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
